PokeCode is a tech company that builds participation platforms on Decidim, the open-source software that city councils and organisations use for things like citizen proposals and public votes. Their website had to explain fairly technical services to people who aren't technical at all.

I turned each service into a small visual metaphor: agile installation became a guy riding a rabbit, maximum adaptability a tower of building blocks, personalised support a colleague carrying another on his shoulders. For each one I sketched several ideas before choosing.

The style is simple on purpose: firm lines, a bit of texture and only touches of their brand colours, so the illustrations support the text instead of competing with it. I also drew the team, including Billie, the office dog.

Agile installation: three ideas on paper, one guy riding a rabbit.

Colour only where it helps: a touch of PokeCode's primaries, nothing more.

Personalised support: a therapist's couch, a fortune teller… and finally, someone who carries you.

One metaphor per service.

The team, including its most important member.

For the clients section: everyone leaves the PokeCode counter with something in their bag.
