Uncle Fletch is a burger joint in Santiago with a strong personality: Texas-style burgers, beer, and a moustached character from "round about 1880". Back then I had co-founded a small design studio, and this was a project I led.

They were opening a new location inside a shopping mall, plus a food truck for events. The question was simple: how do you fit the feel of a big, loud restaurant into a much smaller space without losing what makes it Uncle Fletch?

I designed the interior from scratch, working with the architect on space and measurements: the tractor wall with the neon, the counter, the signage and the murals. Then everything that ends up in your hands: menus, burger and fries boxes, and the food truck wrap.

The logo and the founder's portrait were already part of the brand. Everything else was new.

A big restaurant's attitude, squeezed into a mall-sized space.

Same vintage type and red ink from the walls to the menus and boxes, so the brand doesn't stop at the counter.

Putting the wall together, ladder still there.

The same place, on wheels: vinyl wrap and menu for events.
